I’d hate to spoil the season finale, and possibly next season of Lost for you, so be warned.
One of the stars of Lost is selling his 4,335 square feet, 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom home in Maulukua Place, Haleiwa, HI for a cool $2,940,000. He’s asking for that, I don’t know what he’ll take.

I promise I don’t read Parade magazine. I wouldn’t have known about this if another guy in my office hadn’t tipped me off.
Parade Magazine has their annual “What People Earn” issue this week. Every year they have 70 or 80 headshots of people from across the country with their name, job description, and what they made last year. The subjects run the gamut, from Steve Carell of “The Office” fame ($9 million) to Gary Fearn, a minister from Pueble, CO ($9,000).
While interesting, the reason I got a text message on a Sunday afternoon about this was the inclusion of one of our own in the magazine. Crye-Leike Commercials’ own Tucker Beck has a headshot in Parade Magazine. I’ve got a scan of the whole page after the jump. (This is probably the only place you’ll ever see Tucker and Maria Sharapova together).
Punk chica Avril Lavigne bought a little love nest with her rocker husband in Bel-Air, down the road from Los Angeles.

The three-story house behind gates has eight bedrooms and 10 1/2 bathrooms in 12,000 square feet. The Tuscan-style residence, on an acre, also has an elevator, an office, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a steam shower, a sauna, a pool, a spa and garage space for 10 cars.

That September, Stefani and Rossdale bought a 10,000-square-foot Hollywood Hills home for their little family, paying slightly less than its $15.5-million asking price. The contemporary-style house is on 2 acres in a gated community.

Guess which leader of the free world is a fan of Elvis? Prime Minister Koizumi! He’s coming to the US in June to visit the King. From The Commercial Appeal:
President Bush may act as a Graceland guide to Japanese Prime Minister and self-described Elvis “maniac” Junichiro Koizumi later this month when the two jet in to Memphis on Air Force One, according to Japanese press accounts.
According to Graceland spokesman Kevin Kern, who could not confirm the plans, it would be the president’s first visit to pay tribute to Elvis Presley at the home where Presley died in 1977. The president’s last visit to Memphis was in March 2005 to talk about Social Security.
Before I lived in Memphis, I drove through town several times doing the tourist thing. My favorite part of the trip was schlupping around in the gift shops around Graceland. I hope President Bush takes Koizumi into one or two of them. Maybe while they’re in town they could swing by Beale Streets’ newest establishment.
