The details:
- Referral needs to be a “listing”, not a buyer. Buyers are great, and they’re well worth the 25% referral I’ll pay you at closing. Tell you what, if I represent your buyer-referral in the purchase of a property through closing, I’ll make sure there’s an iPod in your future.
- I’ll get the iPod to you as soon as the listing paperwork is dotted and crossed. (”as soon” meaning within a week and “dotted and crossed” being a cool way to say “signed”).
- Due to…the law, referral fees can only be given to licensed real estate agents. (Sorry mom.)
