Sarah Anne Walker memorial website
I received a comment from Denise on another post with a link to this Sarah Anne Walker memorial website. Scrolling through the pictures puts a very human face on her murder. There are pictures of Sarah with her dad and family, pictures of Sarah at the World Trade Center shortly after the terrorist attacks, and there are pictures of her funeral service.
So very sad.
Will, great stuff. We all have worries about showings alone like that. You’ve done an excellent job keeping up the information. -Cameron
Thanks much. Keep up the good work on your blog.
They got him! Thanks be to God and to all those who have been praying for a swift capture. I knew in my heart this was coming soon and now the day has arrived. What a blessing! In the words of Joe Walker, Sarah’s dad, “Pray for Mercy on this man’s soul”, and like Jackie Mull, Sarah’s sister said, “We want to pray for the killer, not for leniency, but for God’s mercy.” I agree, we need to pray for Mercy AND whatever Justice God allows.
blessings,
Denise
Twenty years ago, Sarah and I worked together at one of her first leasing positions. I am still in the industry but one thing for sure, Sarah has always stayed on my mind. I’ve never worked and been around someone more positive, happy and bubbly as Sarah was. No matter what her problems were, she always had a huge smile on her face and a cute little giggle that would make you giggle even if you wern’t in a good mood. Sarah was a ray of sunshine and she will always be missed by her friends at Ridgetree. We love and miss you Sarah. Rest assured…there will be justice!
I had the privilage of being Sarah’s friend and she changed my life. I was unhappy living in Dallas where we had met and she had moved to Florida. With her encouragement, I came out to visit her and she had set up five interviews for me to go to. She knew I needed to change my life’s direction and she made it happen. That’s the way she was. I took one of those jobs in Florida, married the woman God wanted for me and have gone on to become very sucessful and happy. Thank you for the person and the friend you were to me Sarah. I know someday I will see you again in heaven.

I also had the privilage of being Sarah’s friend and co-worker. I must say Sarah did light up a room. Sarah was a top producing sales agent for D.R. Horton. I do believe she was #1 not only in sales but, also in the the hearts and lives she touched. I can say she was always smiling and had the most positive attitude. You could see her shine! I really hope for postive closure for the family and friends that knew her. I think about her offen, I still see her in her PINK suit. I know she looking down from heaven and blessing all of us for our pain.I was blessed to know her.
Thanks,
Debra Germany
I knew Sarah in high school. I only just today found out that she had been killed. I remember her friendly, energetic face. It’s terrible that she died this way, and I’m glad their found and convicted the guy that did it.
