Home sales up 2.1% in April
From the Memphis Business Journal:
Memphis area home sales for April increased 2.1 percent compared to sales in April 2005, according to the Memphis Area Association of Realtors. The numbers as reported by the Multiple Listing Service showed 1,497 home sales in April 2006 compared to 1,466 in April 2005. The average home sale price in April this year was up slightly to $166,900 from $165,500 in the same month during 2005.
Good news for the residental agents is good news for commercial agents. Of course, these numbers doesn't figure in this month's sale of Elvis Presleys' old house. Elvis pulled in almost one million for his old pad.
